Our History

            Rev. George Ohia pastored in the beautiful tourist hill station of Panchgani for many years. GTC was founded in September of 2001 when Pastor George Ohia moved from Panchgani to Pune in obedience to God’s command after handing over the church to another pastor.
In attendance at the first meeting was Pastor George, his wife Neeta their son Obed and another Nilesh Sasar at their Kubera Park residence. After e few weeks people began to attend. There were many testimonies of people receiving Christ and experiencing the transforming power of God; others got deliverance, healing. As the news spread of what God was doing, people who had not been to church for years began to attend. The Sunday services continued for about six months when their residence could no longer take the number of people in attendance. In October 2002they moved their services to the Conference hall of YMCA.
The church began to grow and by the number of people and new branches.
