OUR DOCTRINAL STATEMENT OF FAITH

Our fundamental beliefs and structure are provided by the Holy Bible, however our doctrinal statement provides a condensed definition of our biblical beliefs, values, and practices. Why do we have a statement of faith?
There are many doctrines in the Bible. However there are main doctrines, which any group professing Christianity must not deny.
Our doctrinal statement is valuable in ensuring conformity to the Word of God and preventing the church from being “tossed to and fro, and carried about by every wind of doctrine” (Ephesians 4:14).
The GLORY TABERNACLE CHURCH believes that Christianity is not only a “Religion”, but rather it is a experience of daily living in the true relationship with the Almighty God, who is Omnipotent, Omnipresent and Omniscient.
We believe that, this living God, “The Father” expressed His divine unchanging love towards the whole world through His only begotten “Son” Jesus Christ (John – 3:16). Whoever believes in Him, accepts Him as their Lord, Saviour and Master and obeys His commandments, He lives within that person through His “Holy Spirit” and establishes true and personal relationship, irrespective of cast, creed, sex, color of skin and economical status & standards.
We believe, that the Almighty God revealed Himself through His Son the “LORD JESUS CHRIST”. He loved us first and commanded His disciples (us) to share this love with our neighbors and therefore, we the settlers decided to form a trust for the very purpose (Luke 10:25 to 37).
We believe, that the “HOLY BIBLE” which contains the Doctrine of Living God not to be used only as a guideline but also to receive it as a grace of our eternal God and His guidance to the disciples who are the servants of God. That the Doctrine contained herein is and shall be the part and parcel of the said trust. That the trustees and / or incoming trustees have and shall have NO RIGHT to add / omit, rectify, modify, verify or rescind any of the DOCTRINES mentioned herein below:

Our Mandate and Purpose

And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force (Mat 11:12).
We believe that our mandate is to reach the unreached and un-churched, train and equip the saints and to raise leaders and Christian workers according to Ephesians 4:11-14 and send them out to “infest” the world with the Word and the power of God, fulfilling the Great Commission as commanded in Matthew 28:18-19 and Mark 16:15-18. We are committed to teaching and imparting and empowering believers to reclaim and possess their place in their communities (John 8:32; Romans 1: 11).
AND being completely submissive to all what He has spoken before and whatever He might direct in the days ahead.
It is our objective that every chapel (or branch) would make a mark in our generation, infesting their community to overrun the works of the devil and to spearhead the works of the kingdom of God in our community and beyond. We have an assignment and that is, the great commission to reach out to the unsaved, disciple them to know their God and to begin to do great exploit Dan 11:32
